The story of K9 Friends began more than seventeen years ago with a spirited Belgian Malinois puppy named Kaden, who came into the life of K9 Friends’ head trainer, Cici. Kaden was more than a companion — he became her closest partner and one of her greatest teachers. Their journey together would go on to shape the foundation of K9 Friends.

Kaden brought energy, confidence, and a willingness to work, which led him and Cici into the world of French Ringsport. Training alongside a small and dedicated group gave them both valuable experience and helped deepen their understanding of trust, patience, communication, and respect. Those early lessons continue to guide the way K9 Friends approaches dog training today.

Watching Kaden grow from a mischievous puppy into a steady, happy companion inspired Cici to create K9 Friends Inc. Since then, she has devoted more than seventeen years to dog behaviour and training, with a focus on helping dogs and their owners live together in a more balanced and connected way.
